About The Author
The author Harry Allen Williams was raised in South St. Louis, Missouri, where he and his future wife attended Kennard Elementary School and Southwest High School until graduation in 1968. He played sports, loved guns, went into caves, and hunted. The family made many trips to Table Rock Lake where they pitched tents to camp, fished, canoed, swam, and water skied. Scuba diving came later. After high school, Allen attended Central Missouri State University and married Mary Sheridan. He graduated from CMSU with a degree in Education and moved back to St. Louis, teaching in two different school districts. After earning his Master’s degree in 1976, Allen went into the sales area until retiring a few times.
He didn’t care about reading and never had an art class. Reading came slowly to him, and the more he read, the more he enjoyed it. Computers opened a new world for him with ideas and information at his fingertips. He has been married to the same person for over 56 years and has two sons, Brian and Scott. The family has never known this, but they were a big part of Allen wanting to leave something to them by way of words to share with others.
